Endpoint Discovery Reminder
As part of ongoing API platform upgrades and lifecycle management, endpoint details published via our OpenID Connect (OIDC) Discovery document (.well-known/openid-configuration) may be updated from time to time.For further information about the APIs go to developer.aib.ie/apis
This reflects standard OIDC practice and does not introduce any new integration requirement.
To ensure continued compatibility, TPP implementations should:
- Dynamically consume the OIDC Discovery document.
- Retrieve endpoint locations from the discovery metadata rather than using hard-coded URLs.
- Refresh any locally cached discovery information periodically in line with best practice.
Implementations that follow the OIDC Discovery mechanism will automatically pick up updated endpoint information and remain resilient to future changes, without impacting PSU authentication or consent journeys.
